Client Spotlight | Sasha Dale

Not only is Sasha Dale a client I have helped create a huge month of business in the MIDDLE of quarantine…which for a photographer was seriously a big deal. She is also my brand photographer, so you might see me creeping around her Instagram from time to time. Check out her story:

Sasha Dale founder/CEO of Sasha Dale Photography: Located in Southeastern CT, brick and mortar studio closed March 16th. Get this, she had just signed a lease to move to a NEW studio space (30% increase in rent expense) . A bit of a ‘panic’ set in not knowing when the pandemic restrictions would allow her to reopen and start doing shoots again.

Let’s go ahead and add in that she is a Military wife (and veteran herself), she has two beautiful young children whose daycare and schools were closed and she was being pushed into homeschooling her kids. Let me add that her hubby just left for duty. I know right!

With all of this on her plate, we focused efforts on what she ‘could do’ rather than what she couldn’t do. We pivoted her schedule, crafted a strategy/offering to get customers to buy from her knowing the doors would indeed reopen- just now sure when, stepped into renovation plans for her to decorate her new studio space exactly the way she wanted it so it would be as inviting as she had dreamed about it and camera ready when her doors do re-open and shared the journey over the last month with her followers on social media platforms and to her email list, helping her stay connected to her audience and valued customers. Want to know how it paid off?

A huge win was booking more than $5000 in session fees and pre-ordered products in ONE WEEK using focused actions.

In her words, “This week I’m just a couple hundred dollars short of my biggest month of the year thus far, which says A LOT considering I’m not able to do human photo shoots! Thank you Michelle!
